Piston ring material 3Cr13 stainless steel are commonly adopted by most turbocharger manufacturers in China to assemble OEM aftermarket turbo CHRAs or complete turbos. But we do not use it for performance turbos or ball bearing turbos, since these turbos need much better resistance, toughness and red hardness under the higher speed and temperature working condition.
